In April Mantua students had a fantastic time planting trees at our Arbor Day Celebration with Superintendent Reid. Thanks to many awesome Mantua Junior Foresters, we now have ten new strong and beautiful trees in our schoolyard. The students did a great job of listening to the ceremony, showing their nature artwork to our special guests, and planting trees!  
 
We wanted to share our Mantua photo album from the event and the video produced by Channel 16. There was also a nice tweet from Fairfax County and an FCPS post on Facebook.  Michele Sullivan, a 5th grade AAP teacher at Mantua is our Mantua Eco Teams Leader.
